Governor Fintiri Reshuffles Adamawa State Cabinet to Enhance Service Delivery

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has announced a cabinet reshuffle aimed at maximizing the strengths of his team and improving service delivery to the people of the state. The announcement was made on Monday in Yola by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou, with the changes taking effect immediately.

The reshuffle affects four ministries:

  • Former Commissioner for Information, Neido Geoffrey Kufulto, has been reassigned as the Commissioner for Women Affairs.
  • Former Commissioner for Entrepreneurship, James Iliya, now takes over as Commissioner for Information.
  • Mr. Hamajumba Gatugel has been appointed as the new Commissioner for Entrepreneurship.
  • Mrs. Wunfe Anthony has been moved to the position of Commissioner of Transportation.

Governor Fintiri expressed confidence in the ability of his commissioners to deliver on their new responsibilities, stating, “This reshuffle is designed to maximize our team’s strengths and improve services to the people of Adamawa State.”

He warned against any form of sabotage and urged the commissioners to discharge their duties diligently. The Governor also emphasized the importance of a seamless transition and encouraged the affected commissioners to work together harmoniously for the benefit of the state.

The cabinet reshuffle underscores Governor Fintiri’s commitment to ensuring efficient governance and better service delivery to the citizens of Adamawa State.
